After getting thoroughly dominated in the first half (and it could have been worse), Syracuse somehow clawed back to make it a 60-60 game…and then it all fell apart for the Orange.
Clemson finished the game on a 17-8 run, made the plays down the stretch, and sent Joe Girard back to South Carolina after his homecoming game with a smile on his face.

GAME ANALYSIS AND QUICK THOUGHTS
The first half was an ugly one for Syracuse as they went on a long stretch of scorelessness that allowed Clemson to take control of the game (Syracuse never recovered all the way to take the lead). It could have been a lot worse as Clemson wasn’t converting at a super efficient rate after Syracuse misses…AND Syracuse continually turned the Tigers over at a higher clip than normal
